Introduction
This chapter is about my personal background, how i obtained my competence as a carpenter, objectivities of the study, Reason of choosing to join Ba degree, and the problem statement have also been discussed in this chapter.

Personal Back Ground
My technical vocational practice and skills as a carpenter and how i obtained my competent as a carpenter. This vocational practice skills, knowledge and experience of my competent was both theoretical and practical. As an instructor whose vocational knowledge and skills are linked to carpentry and joinery, this made me to see as a challenge to my point of departure in this learning process is related to my experience as a trainer for Carpentry and Joinery, from 2003 – 2011. In Norwegian people's Aid, Yei Vocational Training Centre for the past eight (8) years in Yei county, Central Equatorial State Juba, Southern Sudan.

My objectivities
My main objectives is to study and document the existing practicing and improve on the technical vocational training Centre and institution in southern Sudan.
And have ability to practice on all types of carpentry and joinery new advanced technology both in carpentry and Joinery work.
Be able to share knowledge and experience with others and improve my practice and competence to become a technical professional teacher in south Sudan.

Reason of choosing to join bachelor degree in TVET
My main reason of choosing to join the bachelor degree program is to improve my skills, knowledge and experience I have practiced before in carpentry and Joinery work.
A other reason is improve in my teaching practice in technical vocational training and Institution in southern Sudan.
When I was young, I always dreamed to become a Carpenter. That is why carpentry and Joinery become my first choice of interest.

Problem Statement
My problem statement of the text is my ability to think about problems and the Challenges I mentioned above. I-am looking forward to uncover my practice as an Instructor. After eight (8) years working experiences and four (4) months of my bachelor degree program in learning process.
I therefore, realized that there are some essential elements in my practice, that need to be discovered and verbalized. I also need to understand more on technical vocational learning processes.
From my own observation and description of my professional practice as a carpenter, The starting point is the existing challenges and tasks in my professional practice to be uncovered as a Carpenter.
I need to put much effort to discover on practicing my professional competence and become a professional teacher in south Sudan. And how to research for change in this new advanced technology in carpentry and joinery work.

Reason for doing research on my professional practice skill and why to research for questions
My main reason for doing research on my professional practice skills is for myself to see and understand my point of departure and to improve my skills.
And another reason of carrying out research question is to find out the existing technical vocational practical,
Find out ways of over coming the challenges and way forward for improving my professional practices skills as a carpenter,
Know the existing technical vocational training guidelines and policy for instructing the learners.
