Introduction , this is a brief and short description of my personal back ground, my professional craft trade as a carpenter as well as an instructor for carpentry and joinery from 2003- 2011 in Norwegian people's Aid, Yei vocational training centre.
How i obtained my professional practice skills as a carpenter/an instructor for carpentry and joinery Capacity building by Norwegian University cooperation NUCOOP, at NPA/YVTC, was both theoretical knowledge and documentation of my skills performance in social soft ware and teaching methodology.
My main objectives for the study, is to document the existing practicing and improve on the technical vocational training centre and institution in Southern Sudan.
Find out ways of improving my technical professional practice skills as a carpenter, and have ability to practice on all types of carpentry and joinery new advanced technology both in carpentry and Joinery work, i.e designs diffrent types of mouldind and styles of roofing.
Be able to share skills, knowledge and experience with others to improve my professional craft trade as a carpenter in TVET.
My main reasons of choosing to join the bachelor degree program is to improve my skills, knowledge and experience I have practiced before in carpentry and Joinery work.
Another reason is to improve in my teaching practice in technical vocational training and Institution in southern Sudan
my problem statement of the text is my ability to think about problems and the Challenges I mentioned above.
Iam looking forward to uncover my practice as a carpenter/an Instructor. After eight (8) years working experiences and four (4) months of my bachelor degree program in TVET learning process.
I need to put much effort to discover on practicing my professional competence and become a professional TVET in South Sudan. And how to research for change in this new advanced technology in carpentry and joinery work.
My main reason of doing research on my professional practice skills as a carpenter, is for myself to see and understand my point of departure and to improve my professional skills.
To do that, I need to look in to my own, knowledge and experience of my professional practice skills as a carpenter and lean more practice skills both in carpentry and Joinery work.
Another reason of carrying out research question is to find out the existing technical vocational practical, and find out ways of over coming the challenges and ways forward for improving my professional practices skills as a carpenter, and know the existing technical vocational training guidelines and policy for instructing the learners.
This is a brief summary of chapter one, a bout introduction, personal details, my profsssional craft trade as a carpenter, how i obtained my professional practice skills as a carpenter, NUCOOP work shop held at NPA/YVTC, objectives, reason of choosing to join Ba program TVET, my problem statement and reason of doing research on my professional craft trade as a carpenter. Why? I want to perform my own professional practice and research for questions and summary.
